    Bulking for the insulin resistant?

    Alot of the threads I have read talk about bulking and the use a 60/30/10 for ectomorphs. Well that is me, however most ectomorphs including myself are insulin resistant. So to bulk I need atleast 4500-5000. I am 6'3". My question is how do you get in all those calories when you are restricting carbs?

    Define restricting carbs, how many gms were you thinking about?

    Post workout shake 50-75g of Malto/Dextrose. Post workout meal 50g of low GI carb. A bowl of oatmeal in the morning. So around 160g of carbs a day?

    You want to bulk with only 160g carbs? What are your current stats?

    I am talking about bulking for the insulin resistant, so I have to keep my carbs low. My question was "How can I bulk if I am insulin resistant and have to keep my carbs low?"
