To rub or not to rub..that is the question?!

Do you guys rub or massage your injection site afterwards? I thought you were supposed to...then I read some stuff on here that warned against and some that advocated it.

I'm doing bi-weekly injection of Cyp..200 mgs per mL...400 hundred total

1ml monday night...i ml friday morning

not really experiencing any pain...slight discomfort maybe...but nothing major...just not sure if I should be messaging the site afterwards (I have been...and I'm on week 2) Also is it cool to stay with the same site for all 20 injections..I'm real comfortable with my top right butt cheek!

You want to rotate sites or you WILL have problems.

As for rubbing, I normally do not, but some do. I think it's personal preference and if it works for you.

What types of problems?? Any suggestions on how often to rotate? I'm using a 23 g 1.5" and not sure where else to stick that sucka other than my cheeks (bi's, shoulders, delts, thighs...all knda freak me out) recommendations??

I take a HOT shower before, and after, if it still hurts i just stick it to the G/F for about an hour and i forget about it...

Scar tissue build up from shooting the same site causes abscesses. You DON'T want that.

Do, left delt, right delt, left glute right glute.

If you are doing more gear and need more sites, throw in quads.

You'll never have problems rotating the above sites.

Yea, i posted on it. If you massage the site afterwards the steroid can be forced back up the needle track and into the sub Q tissues causing a little pain/swelling post injection, since i stopped massaging i have never had post injection pain from a pharma grade product.

add the quads to your injection rotation....this will give you a total of 6-8 new sites, depending on whether you want to hit all four heads.....

Quads seem more doable for me than delts...not sure why, but the delts freak me out a bit!


Any particular location on the thigh...or just right in the middle?

I'm going left cheek (with wife assist...I'm right handed) for the next two...and then am going to give the quad a try...and I'm going to quit massaging

I shoot it in all four muscles of the quad, this will give you 8 sites in which you can chose from........

The best place to start with the quads is outer upper portion of the thigh, about halfway up.....it should be the meatier part of your thigh....

there are also a couple of sites you can go to, to learn about where......

Me personally try new sites all the time, and usually by trial and error.....but i am with you, i hate shooting my delts...

Do not do right glute, right glute, right del,t right delt, etc... That is crap...

Do it exactly like this from now on and you will be fine...

Right glute, Right Delt, Right Quad, Left Glute, Left Delt, Left Quad... and start over...

Do you guys have help when going opposite side of your dominate hand? My left hand fells like it belongs to someone else (very right handed) the old lady said she's help...but not sure I want to subject her to that!

I can obviously do both quads on my own, and right glute...but no way I'd try my lats on my own and like Jstraw and I have said...the delts weird me out

I usually get my brother or my GF for the left side glute and right side delt...

Thats just me though, id rather have someone else do it...

Here's a tip for you...

My G/F would not even think of injecting me before.

I showed her everything, how to load, change needles etc...

Then i gave myself the shot, and she helped...

After that injection, take the needle and get a orange, and let her practice pinning it...

Thats usually the hardest part for most chicks, they are afraid to hurt you or w.e.

Once they practice for a while, man up and let her stick ya!
