Just looking for some constructive criticism on my workout routine. I've been working out about 3 years now. I'm 6'2, and when I first starting lifting I was about 140pds, scrawny and you could say flabby. I currently at 195, 13.1 body fat, measure with calipers. My workout routine has been:
Monday: Chest +abs
Tuesday: Back
Wednesday: Legs + abs
Thursday: Shoulders
Friday: Bi's and Tri's + abs
Sat: OFF maybe a salad workout if short during week
Sun: OFF

Since I started, I have been strength training, usually 3-4 sets, reps 8-6-4: 85% of my max load lifting.
My gains have been good, until recently I have plateaued on my chest. Every 4-6 weeks, I usually have done higher reps, and lighting the load on weights to change it up. But now, I'm looking to put on more size, and put my strength training on the back burner for a few months. I've been reading up on lowering the weights, and going for 5x5 instead of 3 sets of 8-6-4 reps. Just curious, what kind of routine's you guys use, anyone do like 3 sets of 10, or 4 sets of 10. I don't want to burnout on every workout, just looking for size right now. Not sure on what kind of routine would work. I'm open to all advice. I know every one's body is different and reacts different, just not sure on what I should do.
