who likes system...??? when i first heard them i did not like them at all, but after listening to them more i think they are badass...very unique sound which seems rare these days with bands like nickleback, matchbox 20, Puddle of mudd, jimmy eat world, etc that all sound all too similar...

Ive have to say thats my favorite band right now. Every song I hear from them is bad ass. They have a different sound which is cool.

I bought their CD listened to it and put it back in it's case and left it on my shelf at home. I hated it when first listening, but I do kind of like that jam they play on the radio here in Houston. I think it's Ariels but not sure. I might givem another try.

System of a down are bad as hell bro. the first time i saw them play was before their new album toxicity it was with slayer, megadeth. i met them at the ozzfest a couple years ago they were cool. if you like system of a down check this band out "Boy Sets Fire" they were touring together..

Thats right, I just always call it disorder because when I first downloaded it from kazaa, it was called disorder.

I remember seeing these guys open for Slayer in London in '98, before even the first record came out! No one knew who they were and the audience gave 'em a pretty rough ride. Still anyone willing to open for Slayer with hair dyed blue, wearing make up and glittery clothing has got some serious balls!

All the band members are fellow armenians. Some of the lyrics touch on the Armenian Genocide which was the attempt by the turks to kill all armenians and take our land.

They're good. Jimmy Eat World does not sound anything like the others you mentioned for the record. They do have their own sound.
Anyways, I also like Queens of the Stone Age lately. 30 Seconds to Mars is actually pretty good which is surprising since Jared Leto is the lead singer. I have been listening to a lot of NIN latekly again so I'm liking that now too and recommend it.
