    Opinions On Jumping Rope

    What do you guys think about using Jump Rope as a form of cardio just to break up the cycle of running and walking. I've read a few articles that have said you could to do intervals of jumping rope similar to HIIT and have the same results. Any opinions are welcomed.

    i jump rope sometimes to add variety to cardio.i use a rope that you can add weight to the handles. when i want to incorporate it into a HITT workout i jump for 1 min then drop and do crunches 1 min then repeat the cycle for 20 min.kicks my ass everytime.and the calf pumps are unreal.

    go for it man! yes, you can do hiit with it. you can do hiit with just about anything.
