    Whats your methods of progression?

Just interested to see what you guys do in order to progress.

You cannot increase the weight every time you have a workout as we would all be lifting massive weights - so what other methods of progression do you use?

Also - which methods have you found to be efficient at progressing you further and which ones do you think work better than others?

    Thanks.

my body tends to react well to power movements after a fairly long warm up

a typical work out might include 6 sets, 15/2/2/6/7/7 for which ever muscle group, the last three are training to failure

either more weight, more reps, or less time between sets.

even if its 5 lbs, half a rep, or 1 second....its progression

Vince, other than converting over to power-lifting, deloading is the most under-rated training technique for increasing strength gains.

    Keep up the good work!
