    Steroids & Spinal Cord Injury

I am recovering from a serious spinal cord injury (shattered C6 vert) that happened about 14 months ago and left me totally paralyzed for almost 6 months. I am now trying to regain the muscle mass i lost while paralyzed(almost 45 lbs) and was wondering if anyone here knows of anyone who has used anabolics to recover from a similar situation. I've tried multiple spinal cord forums with no luck and my doctor nearly sh1t himself at the mere mention of steroids.

I am currently about 20 lbs below my natural weight and have hit a plateau. I was thinking of a simple cycle of 400mgwk test e and 200 mg/wk of deca and using whatever AI i can find ( and of course some TBD post cycle). I am still relatively new and trying to get all the info i can. any comments would be much appreciated.

    thanks

Is there any current neurological impairment?

I can not for see any problems associated with AAS use as in regards to your spinal cord injury.

what's your stats? age/weight/height/ and cycle history?

my 2 cent however is asked your doctor whether to aggresively hit the gym to gain more muscle mass or not? then make a decision based on his doctoral recommendation. Remember a lot of athelete have crippled themselve from heavy lifting beyond their will.
    good luck

I would wait. Having an injury like that takes a lot out of your body. Running an AAS cycle this soon after a long winded injury is just asking for problems. Your tendons and liganments are definately not as strong as they used to be and running a cycle most likely will injure you at this point. Wait at least another year. Hang in there.
