    Keeping your Gains?

    I'm an experienced bodybuilder. Workout experience of 20 plus years.

    A fairly new user of AAS.

    After 5 cycles i have experienced good gains..but have lost most of them after completing the cycle....and taking a break.

    What can you do to keep the gains...or as much as possible while on your PCT?

    many users have started to add igf-1 into their pcts and have reported it to help keep their gains better

    ^^^Discipline, I've done that twice and still not fully convinced... also, there have been studies (also posted on this board i believe) that show igf doesn't work and is a waste of money....I'm on the fence on this one

    tcw, I always keep a strong and long PCT than perhaps needed (just to err on the safe side) and I never stop lifting during PCT.... but yes, some muscle loss is to be expected is you stay clean long enough...but it should be small if handled correctly

    Thanks Insane.

    What are you using for your PCT?

    I've been using Clomiphene citrate. I only do a short dosage though...maybe i should extend it...

    Also increase your calorie intake and add more saturated fats into the diet (red meat)

    sounds like you need alot more work on your PCT

    my PCT is HCG, clomid, nolva, aromisin, caber(for 19-nor cycles)

    and i run the total length of PCT for 4- 6 weeks

    i keep alot of my gains with that

    if most of your gains are water, ive heard cycling creatine into your PCT helps keep the gains, but then again if your kidneys are bad i wouldnt try it.

    I have only used igf 1 once in my pct so far, i tried it for the first time my last cycle... i will be using igf 1 in the pct of my next cycle i will be starting in 2 to 3 weeks, i will then make my assumption and conclude if igf-1 indeed does help that much...GEAR swares by the stuff if administed properly with the proper training/diet, etc. so i will find where i stand more at the end of this next cycle

    dukkit... do you also use caber DURING your cycle for the 19 nor cycles or just at pct?
    I will have caber on hand for my cycle i am starting in 2 to 3 weeks, because one of the compounds in that cycle will consist of deca at 600mg/wk (which is higher than i have ever ran it before previously) and am planning it accordingly

    Now...after your 6 wk PCT...do you jump back into another cycle?

    NEVER COME OFF lol.. joke..

    also after aboot 4-6 weeks of PCT.. go to yer doc and ask for a testosterone level check..

    i usually run nolva for 4-6 weeks and clomid first 2 weeks, i only use hcg if i were doing a really long and heavy cycle(nors).

    taking too much pct drugs can have the oposite effect, especially with hcg!


    creatine is basically just water, so yeah youll keep the weight on and it may relieve the joints a little, but id rather spend my money on some good food.

    diet and training are the key to hanging onto gains.
