At over 50g a day, when you're a severe burn victim.

Glutamine is essentially useless. You get more than enough of it from your diet.

Check out Essential Amino Acid supplements or BCAA's if you want a good Amino Acid supp.

I also like to take 5grms pre workout unless I'm using a NO product.

i only believe in using l-glutamine when dieting. You need a decent amount around 20-30 grams a day in 5gram intervals on an empty stomach or with bcaas. I prefer to mix it in sugar free tang. The reason u dont want to mix it with protein powders is the l-glutamine and the glutamine peptides found in protein powders fight for the same absorption and u end up not utilizing either product effectively

I'd agree with glut being a overrated supp. and between high protein diet and protein powders your good.

A cutting diet may see some benefit from glutamine however.

what glutamine helps me with the most is DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness) when taken properly and regularly this product works great to fight muscle fatigue and sorness they first 48 hours after lifting

ideally you should not take post work out as it will effect your bodies ability to absorb protein...take 5 in the morning 5 at night....this is fine unless your getting into the mid 250s then you might want to add an extra half scoup in the morning and night

    cheers!

i use peptide bonded glutamine (G-tek chewables) as well as other bonded glutamine set for release. i have found this to work better than free form bulk glutamine i used to buy. glutamine helps me with recovery, i like to sip on glutamin/EAA during workouts and use them at higher doses during cutting cycles. anything that can help with recovery/strength and spare any muscle while cutting im down to take.
