    Low GI vs High GI

Now we always Preach LOW GI like its God word but i've been reading Alan Aragon's books and tons of studies that found and are finding no significant differance in fatloss or gain. The main thing is moderation if your gorge on either your going to gain fat. Also though we all go with sweet potatoes oppose to russet they both have their pro's and cons one had more of this and the other of that. No One food was supperior last, Diversity and moderation is key, and was his basic point and that just because a food is low gi and sugar enters the blood stream slowly it also exits fast the GI is jsut a base to foods could have the same GI and enter and exit the body at different rates of speed do to the structure of the food itself as a molecule and he also said the only reasons whey was better than whole food is price, conveince, and storage though it get digested rapidly it also get oxidized the same.
just some things to chew on.

i think in a basic diet with someone trying to lose some weight that is obese or overweight that is definitely true. like when I first started out losing weight, i just made smart food choices and only drank water(along with exercise). i lost 28lbs. now that I am trying to cut to 8%, my diet has changed dramatically. when you get into cutting diets or a pro cutting for a contest, they wont be eating pastas and white bread.

correct that a general rule though not for everyone also like fruits kinda get the bad rap where there is actually no studies proving one way or the other.
