I thought I would take a second to introduce myself. I am a full-time firefighter/EMT that has recently started turning my life around. A year ago, I found myself weighing 260+ and my size and conditioning was hindering my ability to do my job. I realized that not only did I owe it to my family and myself to do something, but also the guys that I work with that might be depending on me someday.
Through drastic diet changes and cardio, I dropped a quick 40 lbs and then I started hitting the weights. In May I made it down to 210, but I have creeped back to about 218, but the weight gain has been mostly muscle. I am pretty new to the world of weights and body building (hadnt been in a gym since high school). Now, I am in the gym 5+ days a week and doing cardio 4+ days.
I wont have much to offer to the board, so bear with me.
