    Eggs per day

    Hey whatsup guys?

    Listen, Im eating 3eggs ED along with my diet.
    When you do the math, that's 18 eggs every 6 days.

    That's alot of cholesterol.
    I had my diet checked with Nark, and while everything has been going great (although he did say the fat was a bit high) and I've been losing weight easily, I am wondering if this is overkill?

    Other than this, I take 2 tbsp peanut butter
    And 1tbsp fishoil/flaxoil

    Cardio 6x/week @140bpm for 60mins (70%MHR)
    3 of those 6 are weightlifting plus the 60mins cardio.

    Im losing weight, theirs no question about it. Im looking much better
    thanks to the plan Nark approved.

    It's almost Week4! (Of Im sure around 20)
    Too much cholesterol?

    If it matters, I eat around 80g carbs from oatmeal. Those are my only carbs other than veggies.
    1/2c oatmeal in 3 of my meals (450 cals, around 81gcarbs)
    Theres a lot of fiber in there thats why im saying...I heard it helps lower cholesterol and what not.

    If any1 has any medical knowledge please pitch in.

    Since I know that you're very specific and strict when it comes to dieting, you could just try and take out the egg yolks and instead just eat like 4 egg whites a day and see if your results change or improve. Besides getting blood work to see if your cholesterol is high (Which I doubt) I would say that's the best way.
    That's one of the luxuries of being consistent with your diet. It's easy to take something away or plug something in to see if it alters your results.

    Bro, I eat 56 egg whites and 21 egg yokes a week. You dont need to worry about your cholesterol from the eggs. If your cholesteral levels are up its because of your carbs in conjunction with other poor fat choices.

    Tossing out the yokes is not a good thing. The yokes are healthy and in conjunction with the whites, it makes a complete protein. As you know, complete proteins = more muscle.

    I know it brings the bioavailability up to 100, but I still only eat 1 yolk per about 3 whites...

    Been tossing the idea around of eating JUST whole eggs tho.

    The only thing I'm worried about when I eat eggs is the smell coming out of me later. You're fine bro. I like to stick with about half whole eggs and half whites.

    i eat a dozen eggs a day now, i probably keep about 2-3yolks a day. if u have a good diet with lots of monounsaturated fat your body gets rid of the bad cholesterol so you'll be good.

    I´ve also been debating this . . . cos i always eat my eggs with toast have been tossing the yolks as read in one of the stickies not to eat fat with carbs. Any help?

    I dont understand why when cutting every1 is so strict and bulking they "try to have some fun" and everyone is mixing and matching carbs and fats.
    I have understood that that's a nono due to the insulin spike.
    Why do it when bulking?

    About the eggs, I know we exercise, I know we have fiber in our diet.
    But I remember Dr.s talking to my parents when I was a kid about yolks.
    They always seemed to condone moderation (I dont remember how much)

    Get your levels checked by a Dr. Cholesterol levels have much more to do with genetics than diet.

    I eat 35 egg whites and 14 whole eggs per week I dont think theres any problems with it.

    damn, how do you manage that, i cant stand to eat a egg unless it is heavily disguised by something else, guess you could say im a little burnt out on them

    I eat the eggs scarmbled plain mixed with the egg whites and that is right after my bowl of oats mmmm breakfast of champions! Then a green tea and im off.

    i cant eat that much food for my first meal, and eggs make me wanna throw up eating scrambled, i can eat them runny over ww toast but i try not to eat bread

    yea i love egg whites raw for my daily protien intake. i like to mix mine in with protien shake and make what i call a egg white shake. ill mixe 5 egg whites in with a bannanna and some milk and ice cream and im good to goo.

    Quite like the sound of that . . . how much milk do you add and how much protein powder if any? Think it would taste alright without the ice cream . . . perhaps just ice.

    I wouldn't worry about the eggs at the amount you are taking in daily. I have 20 egg whites a day and my cholesterol is fine. But then again, I don't have the yolks.

    I eat 42 egg whites and 7 whole eggs per week.
    Some weeks i'll eat eggs before bed with 2 whole eggs.
    How do i do it? I have an egg poacher that boils them for me and shuts off when done.

    I do the same.
    I grind up some steel cut oats in my magic bullet to a fine powder, throw in about 5egg whites (liquid,pasturised), one banana and some skim mik.
    amazing!

    how do you guys cook your eggs by the way, is it all the same or better ways to cook them like sunnyside up scrambled vs eggs over hard, any difference?

    hard boiled is my number one choice, than scrammbled or one hellacious omlette. I love poached but not when eating a dozen at a time...LOL

    This month I have been eating 8 egg whites when I wake and 8 when I go to bed that 112 a week.... I drink them in my shakes raw. My farts are horrible... I love it.

    When I was locked into a great diet I was eating 16 egg whites a day and 4 yolks.

    Roughly 72 grams of egg protein a day....

    Best food for lean muscle I feel.

    I dont know about u guys, but egg whites, while tasteless, f*cking delicious.
    I put some SF Jam, just a little teaspoon, makes it better.

    40 egg whites huh.
    Do you buy them in cartons, or by the gallon?
