I've heard a lot lately about Asics being the best out. Currently, I use Shox but they suck for cardio.

Asics never do me wrong, But if you want the most comfortable, well rounded, long lasting shoe, nothing beats Saucony's. If you have a Big 5 Sporting goods shop nearby, they always have those shoes on sale for half off. They normally retail for $100-$200 a pair, but it's WELL worth the money.

You would be surprised, either way New Balances are trash. Try Saucony's and tell me which shoes are better.

I would try Nike, New Balance or Asics. My personal favorites are Nike, but everyone's different.

I use to really be into running a lot... friends were too... I have heard everyone swear by something different.... if you are really going to get into it you will have to find what suits you best.... Nike always worked the best for me.... not that i couldn't run in the others, it was just the best for my flat feet and the the aching was reduced the most with those shoes.... I know others with flat feet that liked something different... I have heard good runners swear by NB, and for me they were the worst....

Isn't this the way everything is in life????lol

I have 3 pairs of these and they are the only shoe that doesn't give me shin splints.

Highly recommended, but pretty expensive...Wish Nike would lower the price to under $100.

I would say chuck taylors, they have helped many out pace the police throughout the years.

i would say the nike air max cage breathe, or the new andy roddick babolat shoes. they have a built-in ankle protector that won't let you roll your ankle, and they bottom of the shoe is made of michelin tires, and they come with a 6 month warranty guarantee. you can see them here. they are also quite beautiful.

I wouldn't go by any specific make or brand. Try on different types of shoes and see what matches your feet. Everyone's feet are different, and just because a shoe is comfortable for someone else, doesn't mean it will be for you!
