    Best New Drummer...

    I am going to take rhino's lead and since I am a drummer, who do you all think is the most tallented and best drummer out there... Now I dont want to hear the obvious like Keith Moon or Neil Pert... I am thinking last 10-15 years...

    Josh Freese (kind of the Kevin Bacon of drums, wiki him)
    David Grohl
    Dream Theater's Mike Portnoy

    Mike Portnoy is amazing, and his drum kit is hella crazy!!!

    The rev is pretty awesome as he not only plays drums but also writes entire songs. He is very musically inlcined and as a new drummer i think he should get the win.

    Dave Lombardo is great. I remember his Slayer times.

    But as far as new drummers are concerned no one beats Yanic Bercier former Quo Vadis drummer.
