    Music...

I listen to just about everything besides rap, well shit i listen to some oldschool rap from time to time.. But lately i've been listening to a lot of classical music, like bach, beethoven, and mozart. Mainly those 3, and to be honest when i listen to that stuff on the car ride to the gym i have an awesome workout. It just calms me so much but at the same time some of the music almost seems dark so it psyches you up

Just thought id share, maybe it'll work for you guys

I like reggae while working out, it's up-beat, feel-good, and has a great rhythm to follow for lifts.

Thank you for having good fvcking taste in music.
I use to like rap (still appreciate some old school too), but the repetitive "black man adversity theme" after like 5-10 years just gets old.

The thing that makes good music imo is people who understand melodies and harmony, classical does, so does trance (my favorite) and rock has some ok riffs. Rap is too over processed, its like eating ground up pig shoulders instead of some Hickory Smoked Ham

Most rap these days isn't music, it's a product. It's stricly produced to yield a profit. The beats pretty much write themselves with recording technology these days, and for the lyrics....well they appeal to the lowest form. Same goes with mainstream country music, and RnB or whatever the hell you call it.

Mainstream music is mostly written by 40 year olds, to be performed by 25 year olds, to be sold to 15 year olds. It's pretty sad really.

You can find good music within any genre, but it's getting harder and harder. I also love classical and jazz. but for a workout? You're crazy! I wish I could get pumped off that but it doesn't happen.

Classical and metal are heavily related, beethoven and mozart were pretty much the long haired tattoo'd headbangers of their day.

Ha, what the hell is that bullshit over/under thing he's doing at 2 minutes, "HEY LOOK AT ME I CAN DO THIS", yet completely un-necassary in any shape or form.
