So many good reads on it out there, but doctors have boxes and boxes of free anti-depressants from sales reps. How many doctors have run blood test to check hormone levels?
Is america suffering from depression and axiety due to lack of testosterone? Or the the depression the cause of the lack of testosterone?
If you are depressed, your test levels will be low.
If your test levels are low, you will be depressed.
How do we treat it?
I know what I would want, I know what I think is better, but what would really be better and why is the question.
What are the positive and negative effects of bringing test levels to optimal in males and females? How soon does it start to work? What is the cost? What are the long term side effects?
What do we really even know about the long term side effects of drugs like cymbalta? That are new. they have a new, better anti-depressant every few years that is marketed, and pushed like a sales man selling secret potions in the 1800's on the streets. Instead of one man selling it in front of the gold exchange, millions of reps are paid 100k a year a lot of times to promote and ensure doctors are prescribing their drugs, taking them golfing, giving them gifts, winning them over the American way.
