Gennelmen, I have always had fragile knees (ongoing patella tendonitis amongst other things) and have moved onto low rep compounds to bring up my strength. This seems to be aggravating my knees again so I was considering using wraps.
As such, I would appreciate your input on the following questions:
- Are knee wraps safe? I have very prominent patellas and can't understand how impinging their natural movement is good.
- Are they only of benefit when doing heavy squats? I'm thinking heavy leg press...
- How long does it take to wrap them up? Surely doing 7 sets means I'll be spending too much time in between sets putting them on and off?
