Maybe a stupid question

hey all have a few quick questions. Names Jerry, 5'8 23yrs training for a solid three and a half years.

I have a quick question about PCT. im going to be starting my first cycle. Mild at best but 250 mg of Test Enth a week. Do I need to take a pct at such a mild dosage even if Im injecting four times a week?

That's a VERY low dosage, I'd bump it up to at least 400mg / week. SECOND, you do not have to shoot test - enan 4 times a week. It's a long ester test, and only needs to be shot every 3.5 days. What you're thinking of doing is completely unnecessary. Are you perhaps thinking of Test - Prop, which should be shot ED / EOD...?

Anyway, even if you're doing that low-dosage cycle, YES you need a PCT for that much test. It's still much more then your body produces naturally so it will shut you down. PCT should include nolvadex and clomid, etc.

Yes my mistake I was thinking of Tprop. Im concerned I think about my PCT because Im at a loss of where I am supposed to get it and at what dosage I am supposed to take them. is Nolvadex by itself and option or should I run clomid along with it?

You can run Nolvadex on its own. You can even not do a PCT but it will take you much longer top recover and you may lose your sex drive so its not recommended but the choice is yours

what about the risk of Gyno, is that a problem or at 400mg a week really not going to give me any of that type of side effect.

Alot of people get great results running 250mg/week bro. There is always the risk of gyno, so you'll want to have something like adex on hand just in case. 400mg/week is ok, it's all about how you respond. I don't get results like I want unless I run 600mg+/week, while my buddy who is on the same cycle is only shooting 400mgs/week and is exploding. Try it out and see. Also, what pct you choose will affect how you recover and how much of your gains you keep. For your cycle, I think nolva/clomid would be great.

Also, I shot prop 3x/week and although my diet wasn't good (noob!), I had alot of acne and if I could go back I would have shot it ed.

what if I were to just run Nolva? I dont have access to clomid, maybe if i get lucky mid way thru my cycle. if I were to lose my sex drive how long are we talking if I run 400 mg Test E for 10 weeks?

Nolva should be ok for a test only cycle, though I would still recommend clomid if you are able to get it. I would run the test 12 weeks shooting 200mgs 2x/week. The sex drive differs from person to person so nobody can tell you exactly, but you should be back to normal after your pct. The only way to know for sure is to get some bloodwork done tho.

yeah Im only doing test. I know Test E does have a long ester which allows you to only have to inject three times a week max but would it be a good idea to inject may three to four times with Test E thus causing blood levels to be more stable?

No. If I remember correctly the half life of test e is 8 days. Anyways, some people get by shooting it 1x/week, but you wont get much more stable blood levels than 2x/week. Prop, on the other hand, should be injected ed, or eod at least.

Okay. So I can count of stable levels at just two injections a week. Any idea on what days would be good days to inject? I lift five days a week, run six and one my one day off I train MMA. Where would I be able to get Nolva?

You can get it at the banner at the top right of your screen. Injection days don't matter, just space them out 3.5 days apart. For example: Sunday nights and Thurs mornings.

another question... do I really need clomid for PCT isnt nolva just enough, and of course ideally you should run them both but honestly, nolva would work just fine wouldnt it?

I did 250mg of test my first cycle and had great results. i think a lot of people in the forum started on more so they haven't experienced a newbie's gains on 250mg/wk but if you've never juiced before i beleive it's a very good does to ease yourself into all of it.

for pct as it's a light cycle you should be fine with just nolvadex. you could do 4wks 20mg/day or some like to do 2wks 20mg/day then 3wks 10mg/day.
