    Test E - Should I wait for it to "kick in" before I start the BULKING DIET?

    I know it takes Test E 3-4 for weeks to "kick in" or to feel the strength and mass effects, I am wondering when to crank up my caloric intake? Should I wait till week 3 before I start my bulking diet or should I start consuming the 4,000 calories a day at the start of my week 1 injection? I'm planning on eating normal for 2 weeks or so and slowly increasing my calories, is this the right idea?

    exactly?? why wait to get your diet going right when you go on cycle? Dial it in now and stick to it. There is a good post in the diet forum fro bulking and cutting. Its not a end-all solution to dieting but it has a good sample format with room for personal fitting.

    Then after your cycle you can go back to your normal diet and lose everything.

    I would not increase my calories too much until week 3-4. Why eat an excess of calories before the AAs even has a chance to work. I suppose if you want to add 8-10 lbs of fat before the cycle starts to be effective you could, but I wouldn't.

    why fat?? If he has a clean bulking set up there is no reason he should gain 8-10 lbs of fat. I didnt have a good diet the first cycle i did (test e) and ate anything and everything (minus junk foods) from day one and didnt gain any bf%

    If you didn't have a good diet, you probably have no idea of what you were taking in.

    It takes a calorie surplus to gain muscle/fat. You will gain some fat on a bulking diet. How much depends on your attention to diet. AAS requires a calorie surplus to gain muscle. Here again, you will gain some fat. If you start that calorie surplus before the AAS kicks in you will gain fat.

    You may have not gained any fat on your poor diet. But, my trainer had me start on my bulking diet day one on my first long esthered test cycle. And, I gained 8-10 lbs the first month, and there wasn't much muscle involved.

    well said. Ya..my first attempt at a "diet" was pathetic. I just ate. Didnt count. Didnt measure. Just ate. Im still no diet pro but ive been working hard to dial it in before my next cycle. Thanks for the info. I stand corrected.
