Im a new poster here but have been a reader for a while. Im also based in Australia.
My stats are as follows
Height 173cm (5"7.5')
My height
Weight 90Kg (198 lbs)
BF I estimate at about 16% (would like to be around 10% and have been around 10% before) - Im estimating im carrying about 5kg (11 lbs) more than my goal at current.
I am very close to your weight as my weight varys by a few pounds on a daily basis but due to my job and the times i eat i havent been able to make good progress, i still hold between 10%bf which im happy for. DIET will bring that down, but also help you with gaining LBM as well, adjust your calories specific to growing. Find out where you are at with daily maintinence but also include BF% into the equation so you find out what you need to trim down on BF%. From there up the cals in the protein and COMPLEX carb area. Keep fats closer to bed time and complex carbs closer to the morning. Greens can be eaten during the afternoon prior to your carb/fat meals (before bed time). Map out your current diet and see what your eating. Post it up here so we can critique it and help you achieve the goals you want. Diet is different for every individual and thats what will make or break you, i found eating less often (every 3 hours vs 2hours) im actually making LBM gains in the gym due to strength and size, etc.... find what works for you, it may take quite some time to figure this out.
Have been training for 10 years since i turned 16 (now 26). My first cycle was only a month ago. I had thought about it a few times but decided against it though thought i'd give it a go this time round. I also have a university degree in Exercise and Sport Science and am working as an Exercise Physiologist.
Though steriod use and steroid physiology consisted of one lecture i think. So my steriod research has been of my own accord, though im very good with exercise technique and training methods.
Thats great, but you should be studying more of AAS, hormones in general, the endocrine system, the brain, and how they all correlate with each other. There are MANY things out there that people are still studying and researching as things affect people differently so you should know and take all pre-cautionary measures. Once again find out how exogeneous hormones affect your body so first cycle keep it simple, Test enanthate. Its great as its only injected twice a week, its a long releasing compound with an ester(enanthate) attached to the hormone testosterone which releases it slowly into the sytem. ITs a lot better than sustanon in terms of sides and keep stable blood levels. Also Deca is a 19nor or another words synthetic progestin. It reacts different in the system as in needing separate ancilleries in order to combat some of the sides associated with 19nor's. You havent cycle before so you dont even know how high levels of testosterone affect you. So getting back to it, keep it simple. You WILL see results from the test and if your diet is set then you will have an unbelievable first cycle.
Enough of my background now for my questions. I would like to know what you think about my 2nd cycle (will do it in another 6 weeks from now)
My first cycle was this. A 10 week cycle of Deca and Sus stacked.
Once again, keep it simple.
Test Enanthate - 250mgs shot twice a week. Should be spread out every 3.5 days for injections.
Run that for 12 weeks with nolvadex (tamoxifen) on hand in case you start to experience any gyno symptoms.
PCT should consist of a SERM and an AI....Check out the PCT section as there are different PCT protocols AND you should learn that by reading
Week 1 - 1/2ml of Deca (100mg) and 1/2 ml of sus (125mg)
Week 2 - 1ml of Deca (200mg) and Sus (250mg)
Week 3 - 2ml of Deca (400mg) and Sus (500mg)
Week 4- 2ml of Deca (400mg) and Sus (500mg)
Week 5 - 2ml of Deca (400mg) and Sus (500mg)
Week 6 - 2ml of Deca (400mg) and Sus (500mg)
Week 7 - 2ml of Deca (400mg) and Sus (500mg)
Week 8 - 2ml of Deca (400mg) and Sus (500mg)

During the main part of the cycle i was hitting it twice a week but the values listed are the total for the whole week.
This was my first cycle and thought it best to pyramid up and down and take Novaldex for one month after as my PCT.
Do not pyramid as it creates unwanted sides throughout the cycle. Keep the levels stable from beginning to end. Also research out some PCT as youll need more than just nolvadex for this. Things like HCG, proviron, aromasin, etc...may also be needed as Deca will completely shut you down and you want to be sure you will jumpstart your endogenous testosterone production.
My second one is going to consist of Equipoise and Enanthate with possibly some prop at the start.
Hold off on the second cycle for now and do research while running your first cycle. Its best to find out what works for you and how test itself affects you as a person and in the gym. EQ you will find is a weak substance in terms of growing muscle, and if your diet is not up to par and your BF% lower than 16% i dont think you will reap the benefits from EQ (minus the increase in appetite and RBC which i still second guess) So once again, plan the first cycle, put your time and dedication into it as it is your first and you make great gains. This will also allow you to study and research out different hormones and compounds and how things affect your body. During your off time at the end of this cycle, then start planning your second. Focus on this one for now.

I wanted to go towards equipoise due to the more quality gains and less water retention compared to using deca. (from what i read) Reason is that when i lost some water and BF (that part was due to less eating and alot of dancing on my birthday weekend - so i lost some BF) after the first cycle i actually felt better and liked myself better in the mirror with less water and BF so id rather have less overall weight but like myself and body shape better.
Test e is longer acting so i feel it would be better for me than SUS as from my own conclusions as sus consists of Test Propianate it loses some effectiveness as soon as the prop is gone (say working at only 70% effectiveness due to everything else being active but the prop portion is out of the system. Would i be correct?
Should i hit some prop at also for the first few weeks until the test e begins to take better effect? I am thinking of taking a small portion 3x a week for the first 3 weeks. Or do it over a longer period?
Ok now for the questions
1. Should i hit some prop at the start until the test e takes its full effectiveness? and how much and how long and how many times if yes?
No keep it simple for the first cycle.
2. Do you think the pyramiding the way i have it is acceptable? (taking it up and down the first and last couple of weeks).
No, it creates more unwanted sides due to unstable blood levels
3. Am i correct in my conclusions of sus?
Sustanon does contain the prop ester, as the reason it should be shot EOD to take full advantage of it and to keep sides lower. So in that retrospect yes you are correct.
4. is the length of the cycle ok?
Yes, first cycle i would take to 12 weeks but that is up to you. Make sure to take time to research out the side effects of 19nors as they can affect people harshly. Refer back to the response i wrote. Side note....Deca should be stopped 1 week before the testosterone to have 3 full weeks or 21 days off before PCT
5. Should i hit it once a week and do the full amount or halve that amount used and do it twice a week.
Twice a week works best to keep sides down
6. anything you would change about it?

7. should i start any Clomid or novaldex during the cycle (as i read some ppl do it toward the end even though they are not truly post cycle yet). Or maybe just keep some on hand in case i get gyno symptoms?
Keep it on hand and if you experience any signs or symptoms of gyno start the nolvadex.
8. My PCT will consist of Clomid only for 4 weeks post. Anything more i should try to add for post?
Horrible PCT, Click on the PCT forum and read. PCT is very important and should be learned by reading so you dont slack as people slack so much for PCT and focus more on the cycle itself.
I say try as im in Aus and these things are not as readily available as in the US. Though if i do experience gyno symptoms i could see a doc to get some by presciption i assume.
