Zero right now. I'd rather buy food since money's tight.

    1 pwo.

Like DSM, sometimes I take one before bed if I'm too tired to eat cottage cheese

I do one scoop only per shake. So in a full day i take 2 scoops total of the fake stuff. I might even cut it out of my PWO and just use food.

that's kinda tough, cause like i bring the shake with me to the gym and take it right after, cause ya know how everybody emphasizes how important it is to get the PWO shake asap

to use food i would have to go home and bake the chicken etc , itll take at least an hour ..

how do u cook ur chicken exactly anyways?
i bake mine with seasoning, and use 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil

I cook my chicken for a couple days in advance on a George foreman grill . sometimes with Season All but mostly plain. Don't believe in all the hype man, esp with shakes and insulins spikes etc do what works for you.

i noticed ur stats, im same height 5'6 but 150lb , i'd love to increase to 175lb with a the clean bulk however it is so much food to eat + expensive for a college student like myself

i take it around 2200 cals, only like my body weight maybe less of grams of protein..i hear some ppl sugguesting like 300 grams for ppl who weigh 150lb, its sounds ridiculous to me

i did use the george foreman grill but it started killing me, i hated cleaning it as much as i hated how dry it made the chicken

how many grams would u say u take in daily

DSM is right food is obviously the best source of protein.

Nevertheless, although I pre-cook a lot of my meals, I find it hard to eat all the time.. especially since I wake up at like 5:00am. So to make up for it, I take 3 shakes a day: 25g in the morning (upon waking up); 50g PWO; and 50g casein protein before bed.

most days i take 2 scoops of whey with milk and eat cottage cheese with oats for breakfast.

the same pwo. if it isn't a workout day then i obviously don't have my pwo and just continue with my eating routine.

so... some days 2, some days 1.

Your right. I see people all the time saying "i take on 3500 + calories" and blah blah blah . why follow in their mistakes (not all but most) ? You want to gain but gain muscle not fat. People use the excuse, im going to bulk up (w/ fat) then cut that fat which will leave me shredded. In the end they end up cutting all the muscle they gain because of their lack of diet.

I am currently taking in 2674 calories and gaining. My BF seems to be staying around the same (i take measurements with tape and BF caliper) so i am not changing anything. I have a demanding job and hit the gym 4 days a week, most people would think 2600 is too low but guess what, works perfectly for me.

Diet is trial and error. Not others trial and errors but your own.

Some times, I feel like my body doesn't need all the protein I take in. I think you'd have to workout and keep record for awhile before you really know what your body needs to reach your goals though. I'm still trying to grasp it.

Whatever you decide to do or change, just make sure you keep it consistent. Keep track of your progress and go from there. Without consistency you don't know what could be affecting any changes in progress you might see.

yea thats definitely a good point,

i've seen increases in strength and most importantly physically , but im concerned because i was taking like hardcore hydroxycut + cell tech + a pretty good diet ( besides when i drink on wkends),

but i wasn't sure which to give the credit too was it the hydroxycut that got me abs, or the diet .. or a combo of both
was the creatine responsible for my gains, or was it naturally..sucks buying that overpriced crap cause once u get off it, u lose the consistency your body was used to when u were on it

... i just ran outta hydroxycut and cell tech just this week and im not gonna get back on it ...dunno where it's going to take me though, hear so many rumors about creatine and losing what u gained or whatever when u get off
