No fruit sugars (fructose) will not give the insulin response like glucose will since 1 it needs to be converted in the liver to glucose/glycogen and 2 is passively diffused into the bloodstream so it won't absorb as fast as glucose and 3 there is fiber in fruits which will further slow digestion of the sugar.
What have you been reading Flex ? Don't believe all the hype.
The idea behind taking dextrose post workout is to get nutrients to abosorb better through the increased insulin response, so no it's not a good thing. It would be if someone was trying to cut.That sounds like a good thing to me.
Dextrose is crap. I'll never use that shit again. Most of the Bros here use oats pwo, works great.

Personally I alternate between waxy maize and dextrose. Figure I've somewhat split the difference/covered my bases. Neither one is very expensive.
