I personally wouldnt buy one but there is some good exercises that can be done with them. I have a cable cross over setup at home which I think is superior. How cheap would it be?
No way, dude. Think about it...if all these machines with their amazing claims actually worked, why would free weights still be around? It's a gimmick. I'd spend the money on some AS instead. You'll get better results.
I used on once and only once they suck..
I saw a barely used on returned once at an exercise store because one of the resitance rods snapped back and hit the female owner of the machine in the eye almost blinding her as she was trying to adjust the resistance. Atleast thats what the guy at the store told me.
I got one, because, like you it was incredibly cheap.
Now I regret. I never use the dam thing.
they're not useful at all for any kind of serious training.
x2 cable cross-over is the way to go for cable exerices. A good home gym must have one imo. It's not all inclusive, just marketed that way. Save your $400, dude...put it towards a power rack, some heavier dumb bells/free weights, cross-over cable system, or some AS.
Cmon guys, the guy in the Bowflex video has a great body. So it *must* be great.
The crap people buy off of TV is un-believable.^^^^
i have a bow flex cus the wife wanted one. i love to use it for various exercises that you would use a cable apparatus for.its great for finnishing moves.i like to combine heavy freeweight compound exercises with finnishing moves on the bowflex. i dont see how thay are a scam. i offers various resistance. i realize its not all hardcore and stuff but it dose what it says it can do.peeps just have to use the dam things.
