    does this scare the crap out of any one?

    Let's review some of Barack Obama's most recent actions since he was inaugurated a little more than two weeks ago:

    * His first call to any head of state as president was to Mahmoud Abbas, leader of Fatah party in the Palestinian territory.

    * His first one on one interview with any news organization was with Al Arabia television.

    * He ordered Guantanamo Bay closed and all military trials of detainees halted.

    * He ordered all overseas CIA interrogation centers closed.

    * He withdrew all charges against the masterminds behind the USS Cole and 9/11.

    * Today we learn that he is allowing hundreds of thousands of Palestinian refuges to move to and live in the US at American taxpayer expense.

    Anyone else seeing a pattern here?

    im not looking to piss any one off or incite anger just post what has happened
    i cant believe i am going to c the usa falling apart like this...

    almost all of that is him improving the us in the eyes of foreign countries.

    gitmo earned bush a lot of heat with the methods used there
    cia interrogation centers doesn't mean much. if they care, they will bring them to the US which is probably a smarter move in some cases
    i think bush handed out a big enough punishment for 9/11
    palestinian or mexican, there are millions of immigrants anyway, is it all bad that some are by choice? better than cuba sending people over here

    I heard someone say the other day that Obama is just Osama, wearing a mask...which is why you guys never could find him...LOL

    And one of these days, in a press conference, he's just gonna rip off the mask, and there's Osama staring at you through your television, and he's gonna say...

    He's trying to do things that put US at a better stance with the rest of the world. Nothing bad about what he's doing by any means. He's only been active in office for a month, he hasn't caused anything bad to happen to the country. What's the big deal? The shit Bush was doing was downright illegal at times.

    This is the worst thing to happen to America since 9-11. But take a look at everything else that is going on too, all of these high and mighty billionaires being caught in their scandals. There's just no way for the American public to strike back and reclaim what is ours and set this country back the way it should be. I hate all this gimme, gimme, crap. No one is giving me anything. If I go out and get a better paying job, I get penalized because of my hard work and ability to make more money. Too many people are looking for handouts, it's okay to ask for help, but help should only go so far, we can't support everyone. Sometimes it's just tuff luck, or your own fault for the situation you are in.

    Pesonally, I liked Bush..I feel he chose to do what is right for our people and country, and not what would make him popular..sure he was a funny guy to listen to and watch on T.V.. Not everybody has the talent to be a great speaker, it is what is done behind the scenes that really matters anyways.

    there is actually a couple different operations in different theaters going on.. the operation iraqi freedom is soon to be finished, or as soon as we can do it.They are attempting to have iraq self sufficient very soon...and there is Operation Enduring Freedom which is involvin afghanistan and pakistan.. and yes..about 17,000 more soldiers will be coming this way.
