Mickie Rourke's Drug Dealer In "The Wrestler" Arrested Last Night

    Feb 19, 2009
In what could definitely be considered ironic, Scott Siegel (the actor who played Randy The Ram's drug dealer in "The Wrestler") was arrested in New York last night following a crazy police chase. Siegel was charged with distribution of steroids, which is what he provided Mickie Rourke's character in the movie, and assaulting an officer.

Siegel was apprehended in Eastchester, New York following a car chase through Westchester. During the chase, he rammed several police cars and once stopped, he abandoned his SUV and tried to flee on foot.

His arraignment should be held today for distribution of steroids and assaulting an officer.

I realize that he was going to get in trouble, but running from the cops?

    WTF??!!??!

Great way to help his case.

For the love of all that is holy, if you get busted with the shit, and I do not care how much, you just shut the f*** up.

I don't care how pissed off, or scared you are. Silence is GOLDEN.

If the cops even want to talk to you, just ask you a few questions; you have the right to tell them they will need to formally arrest you, and provide you with a lawyer to be present and to counsel with yourself before and during any questioning.

Same goes if you get arrested for ANYTHING. Ask for your lawyer first and ask the officer (politely) not to ask any questions until you have a lawyer present, and had consulted with the lawyer.

Also, the act of Politeness and tact goes a longer way than you realize. Want more charges thrown at you? Fine, then go and be a dickhead, and I would bet money that those cops you happen to be dealing with will go through whatever book they can find to look for more shit to stick you with.

Be cooperative, and polite, while at the same time exercising your rights to a lawyer and remaining silent.

It does not matter how angry you are, the laws, or the rude behavior of the cops, or how much stash you got caught with. The more problems for them you make with crazy behavior, the more you hurt your case. Just being rude can give them an extra case of the ass for you.

Make their job easier as far as you using good behavior, and so long as you use your rights (that is the only thing you need to do that will make their job difficult), you can reduce the amount of shit you are in for.
