This is what I have found to work for me or let me put it this way, I am happy with the results I get from working out this way.
I only hit one body part per day. I only do 3 excercises per part and 3 sets per excercise except for shoulders because I do traps that day so there is 4 excercises. I do 6-8 reps with the heaviest weight I can use to only do that many reps.
I do 4 warm up sets 12 reps, 10 reps, 6 reps and 3 reps with the last one being about 80% of my workout weight.
I rest 2 mins per set so the whole wokout takes me about 30-35 mins total.
Each week I do something different. Week 1 chest I may do dumbells, week 2 barbell and week 3 hammer machine for each body part.
I am in a cut mode so I do cardio for 30 mins after this so all in I can have a strenght and cardio work out in about an hour.
Just wondering if anyone else is this short because I hear of people in the gym for hours.
