Talking New guy open to advice...

    Hey whats up,
I'm 23 and I recently just became interested in bodybuilding and working out.I've been working out for a little over 2 solid months, and I've had some awesome results. When I started I was 6'2 200lbs with a lot of flab around my mid section. I now weigh 180 and I'm starting to get tone to my muscles. I started up a low card high protein diet which includes

    8:00am- Egg white Omelet w/ multivitamin and 3 t-bomb 2
10:00am- Protein bar or protein shake
12:00pm- lean steak chicken or tuna w/ a veggie
    2:00pm- protein bar or shake
    4:00pm- protein bar or shake
    6:00pm- lean steak chicken or tuna w/ a veggie and 3 t-bomb 2
    8:00pm- 2 hard boiled eggs

I work out every other day giving myself a day to rest in between. I start with about 15 minutes of cardio on the treadmill then hit the weights. 3 reps of 10 on the bench, pull ups, chin ups, bicep curls, tricep curls, pec deck, push ups, and 100 sit ups and crunches. Eventually I plan to use steroids because I want to get as big as I can! I just want to see how much natural gain I can get before I start using steroids. If anybody has any advice for me as to improving my diet or work out let me know! I would really appreciate
    it!

    THANKS,
    LATER ON!

Hey bro welcome! First thing that pops out in your diet is all the protein bars/shakes..try to eat as much REAL food as possible. Also hit up the diet section of the forum. Tons of info there to get you started!

diet - yep, try to eat things that used to walk (meat) and things that wanted to walk (eggs) more ... the shakes and bars are good in times of emergency but cut them down to one or two times a day... bring them if you arent sure where or what your going to eat next.

work out - looks like you have gotten some good results thus far 200 to 180 and im sure looking good! if your goals are to get as big as you can (i believe that is what you were saying) you prob going to have to switch to a 4 to 5 day a week plan. search work outs or splits in the search button and get what you are looking for. this will allow you to hit each muscle and rest it the correct time before doing it again - thus getting as big as possible

cardio - my personal preferance is form my experence and i would say that the first 5 to 8 min your body is just getting warmed up on the cardio... the next 7 to 10 min you are just getting in to you "zone" ... i would suggest that you do at least 30 minutes after a good warm up of 3 - 5 min... then hit the weights - depending on you goals you should be hitting 65 persent of you max hart rate as an average over the 30 min and spike up 3 to 5 intervals of 75 to 95 persent of you max heart rate for 30 seconds to 90 seconds.

and welcome to the team bro
