Arrow New and need your help!!

    hey everyone!

I am new to the diet section so I figured I would take a gander!

I was wondering if there are any threads that talk about fast/slow digesting carbs and what the kinds of foods are?

I totally understand that after workouts, it is necessary to eat fast digesting carbs and what not.

The reason why I ask is because I am currently taking clenbuterol and I want to maximize my weight loss through my diet. I bust my ass during cardio and eat basically chicken, turkey, tuna, salads, oatmeal, and rice, etc! very light carlories but high in protein and nutrients. Any helpful tips/advice/threads any of you can give me to give me that extra oomph for my clen cycle?!

Do a search on glycemic index on google or whatever.

Low GI = slow glucose release. High GI is the opposite. You can find the GI of any food source quite easily on various websites.

slow glucose should be used through out the day and fast glucose should be used right after workouts like a banana. they spike your insulin and transport all the nutrients and glycogen to your muscles... dont be afraid to correct me when im wrong.

the insulin spike is overrated and bananas aren't "fast glucose", they actually change from a starch to a simple sugar as they ripen but for the most part they are low-medium GI
