    Anyone have surgery on cycle?

I may have a short surgery coming up... Very minor and I'll only be down a week. I am mid cycle and unfortunately this has to be done asap.

    Currently on a Tren-E/EQ/TEST-C cycle with novaldex/arimidex ...

I dont see why it would be any issue but I will be under a general... anyone else done it?

One of the older guys at the gym told me he was on a deca/test cycle for his surgery and it helped him recover really quick.

Sometimes docs are a lil ignorant to certain things, so of course I'll discuss it with the doc, but looking for a little feedback here as well.

    Thanks

I was 6 weeks in when I was in a M/C accident, I never told them I was on. They asked me a few times if I was on juice 'cause my blood was thin, I thought it made it thicker, I don't know. I had two surgeries, no problems, I recovered pretty good after the operations, but rehab has been a bitch

If I was having general anesthesia, I would tell my doctor everything I was taking, if it's a local, why bother.

steroids are used in hospitals to help recovery, mainly for burn victims though. i would run it by your doctor though, i mean you dont wanna find out after the fact that you are dead because of it.

Shouldn't be a problem. Will you still be able to workout like normal? Also you might be more careful about infection at the incesion point as your immune system will be weaker than normal.

Your good, any of the drugs they put you under with would not react with the hormones.....remember, steriods are permeable to cell membranes (being derivatives of cholesterol) and most of the compounds used in anesteisiology are depolarizing/repolarizing agents, such as PROPOFOL (the white substance that puts u took sleep, look it up, its pretty kool stuff), FENTANYL (extremely powerful narcotic, I think it is 30 times more potent than morphine), some type of paralytic (to make sure your not muscles aren't spasing everywhere), Neostigmine (which is a reversal of the paralytic, I'm sure you've heard of ATROPINE in the movie the Rock, Neostigmine is the same thing, it reverses the effects of a cholinesterase inhibitor so that the achetylcholinesterase can break up the acetylcholine, which is a nuerotransmitter than makes muscle's contract, or exictes the membrane causing the depolarization), and of course you'll have a tube in your trachea making sure your breathing! ha, they use gases like SEVOFLORANE, and others to make sure your tidal volume is good and all that good stuff....so to answer your question, there is no Anesteisia drug thats gona interfere with the sauce your taking, but if it were me I WOULD STILL TELL MY ANESTEISOLOGIST EXACTLY WHAT I WAS TAKING, b/c its not his/her job to judge you, but it is their job to make sure you wake up!!! Odds are exremely slim something would go wrong (trust me on this one, I happen to know a vast amount of information on this subject and we'll leave it at that....) with a drug interaction though! Good luck....
