So, a couple of months ago I hurt my elbow doing extensions. I increased the volume in my workout a little too fast and ended up hurting it. I hurt it a little and tried to work through it, and then it was hurt a lot.
After that, I stopped working my tris directly, and wrapped my elbow. On any type of press, however, I still experienced some pain. I just kept the volume low and weight low, just so I could keep some presses in my workout while my arm healed. Well my elbow is all better now but it seems as though my left arm has been compensating for my right one. It is the stronger of the two (reversed from before). But somewhere, I also hurt my shoulder. It isnt terribly hurt, and it getting better everyday (I have been doing a lot of shoulder mobility work, and stretches and what not).
So anyways.... I am still lifting but an having a hard time working my triceps to the degree I'd like to without hurting my elbow or shoulder.
Dips - hurt shoulder
Close grip presses - hurt shoulder
Pretty much anything with a barbell hurts my elbow.
Pretty much any kind of overhead arm extension hurts my elbow.
I have really only been able to do cable work for my tris. Anyone have any suggestions for lifts I can without risk of further injury?
