If you are doing DC properly, you should be going so heavy that you are only able to do three sets of one exercise. That is what the system is predicated upon, really heavy weight. If you are doing more than six reps on your first set, you aren't going heavy enough. Keep your form tight and go with more weight. Once you find how big you can go, then it will make more sense. Then ensure you utilize the rest-pausing and extreme stretching as well, and it is a good system. At least, I have made great gains from it so far.
Give the system a little time. Once you cycle back to incline barbell, for instance, add more weight. Keep doing so until you cannot add anymore. Just google DC training and read up some more on it. Everyone reacts differently to different methods, but my training partner and I have been doing DC for about 4 months now with good gains in size and strength.
