A guy in my gym told me not to use juice while cutting because it will make my skin look thicker. is that true?

What are you talking about milk, fruit juice, or AAS
sorry I meant milk. as in cows milk
I've heard dairy can cause a little bloat and a soft look.
I guess for me I've not noticed it personally until recently I've not been lean enough anyways to know the difference, I've heard the same about sodium.
I believe it is related to an allergic reaction.
I've always heard this as well, but have not experienced it personally. I don't consume very much dairy, but I do have some milk in my oatmeal and coffee. I also have some yogurt with my oats. I stay below 10% most of the time, so I'm already lean and never notice any effects. Maybe because I don't consume very much. I'd say experiment with it if you're interested in adding it to your diet.
I'm with everyone else. Unless you have specific food intolerances then I think the milk = soft skin/bloat is a myth.
I think it is only applicable if you are already very lean and looking to compete... Otherwise I don't think it makes a noticable difference
Sodium may make your skin look thick because sodium (a fancy name for salt, basically) retains water inside your skin and muscles. A lot of IV's and stuff have a fair sodium content, and they are used when someone is dehydrated, not only to replenish fluids but to ensure fluid retention. As far as diary making skin look thicker, I dunno about all that, but sodium very well may because of it's retention properties. PM fireguy and ask him, I guarantee he'll know
