    Carbs in protein bar

    i eat a protein bar eod.. was wondering if the carbs in it are bad ones?

    Hard to say. I haven't found any I like yet. Sounds like a bad plan. Better than skipping a meal though.

    You should also check the fat content, its sometimes very high...

    well i like the met rx protein plus.. choc. roasted peanut or choclate chunk.. each are 320 cal., 32g pro., 27g carb., 8g fat, 2g sug., 28g sugar alcohol. they just taste sooo good

    Um thats not a generalization that you can make, read off the nutrition label on here and we can determine if it's ok or not.

    Not bad, most of it is sugar alcohols which might gives you the shits. Other than that you're at about 12 net carbs which might be in the form of maltodextrin which is just as bad as dextrose. I'd say its pretty good, not the absolute best choice.
