    carb down, carb up trick

Im going to vegas next thursday for my bach. party and I was wondering how to look my best at the pool. I did the carb down;carb up trick years ago but I forgot the way I did it. Ideas?? All I remember was that for the time I was on my vacation, I felt and looked pumped up for the entire trip!

cut carbs to .25 or .5 grams per pound of body weight for 3-4 days

then carb up (healthy carbs) on the day of or day before your at the pool
    depending on timing.

It needs to be done in conjunction with water manipulation as well and is only going to make a visible difference if you are fairly lean.

Now that I think about it I wouldnt even bother with the water aspect unless he is around 8%. Usually with the water you would keep it high while the carbs are low then drop the water, once you get "dry" you then add back in the carbs. When the carbs go back in they help tend to "pull" any excess water from under the skin. Timing has to be on for sure.
