    Another New Guy!

    Hey everyone, Danny here. Just wanted to pop in and say hi. I'm a 25 year old male, 5'10, 140 pounds. I power lifted when I was in High School and worked out some in college but ended up falling out of it for a while. Started researching this stuff about a week ago and so far this site has the absolute best information available that I've found anywhere.

    Big problem I've always had is putting on the weight. Even when I was taking in 2000+ calories per day I couldn't seem to actually gain much muscle mass. I did some research online and found that there are many people who suffer from this and ended up realizing one of the better methods of gaining weight was to juice up. So, here I am - and I'm sure I'll have a lot of questions. I've been trying to read as much as I can.

    Hey Danny...Welcome.

    One of the best things you will find out on this site that actually the best way to bulk up is with a diet. At 140lbs the right diet will do wonders for you.

    You got a long way to go before you consider "juicing up"

    2000 calories is nothing if you want to grow!! I eat that before lunch.

    Steroids are not magic, they can't make muscles out of thin air. Your diet has to be ten times better on cycle then off

    Post up your typical days food intake and let's start there

    And yes, I know - its most certainly not something I'm just going to jump into and expect immediate results.

    As per my diet - I try and eat 3 meals per day. I try to take in as much protein as possible. I eat a lot of peanut butter and tuna, and try to consume wheat pasta for at least one of my meals. I'm not currently taking any supplements or shakes. Just the food. I also like to eat meat and potatoes - but it just doesn't feel like I'm consuming enough food.

    Should I up my food intake or just change what I'm eating?
