Eggs.
Where is the protein?
In the white?
The yolk?
Or both? (And what's the split if both?)
Been trying to get an answer on this for a while now.

^^^ im guessing these facts arn't for xl eggs (that's all i eat)
my research shows 6-7g for xl egg whites... not on my reg comp right now, or i'd post up the macros
well i'm not noone so i guess i can answer it, lol
there is protein in both, in fact, in order for an egg to have a bioavailibility value of 100(which is the basis by which all proteins are rated) you must eat both the yolk and the egg white as yolk contains some amino acids that the egg albumin does not
If that was the question no one can answer I cant wait to see the easy ones.
hey phate do you base your protien sources that you eat through out the day on the biological value of protiens?
Thanks guys.
I asked this a while back and nobody knew.
i base them on alot of things, but most of the time it's on convenience since i go to college and only have 10 minutes in between classes to eat and get across campus, that makes egg whites paramount to my diet
when i get home i will vary the sources from chicken, lean beef, tuna, salmon, etc....
it's cool bro, this is a completely different diet forum than it was just a month ago
