Why use oil as a test base

    Hi,

I was reading in an anatomy and physiology book that fats easily cross the blood brain barrier, and since oil is a fat why do they use oil as a base for testosterone? Wouldn't the oil injected go into the brain since fats easily pass the blood brain barrier? Would your brain and/or body just become oil after a long time on injections? Confused on this b/c I know it must be considered somewhat safe or many of you all would not do it.

I think you are looking too deeply into this...

There are fats in your blood normally, triglycerides.
