Hey guys, my question pertains to the proper time to use AAS. Obviously, there is no magical age at which it is proper to use AAS. It’s not like as soon as you hit a certain age, it’s a green light to starting cycling. There obviously is a reason why it is recommended that you are at least within your late teens/early twenties before you should consider using them. I’ve read various sources of information as to when it is okay to begin using them, and I still haven’t found the exact reasons why. All I’ve found in a nut shell is:
- Wait until early twenties
- May stunt growth
- May slow down/permanently stop natural testosterone production (Risk for all…)
So my question is what is the difference between using AAS at say 18, and using at 21? It seems many people use them in their LATE teens and have not had many problems, due to proper usage. Obviously there is a bit more growth that occurs between your late teens and early twenties, but nothing drastic. What indicators are there that give a green light to use AAS, meaning that it is safe to do so? How does one know, other than hitting that “magical” age? I’ve been working out for about 4 years now, been eating clean for a year to two, and I’m not making gains like I did when I first started. On the long, slow grind to improvement.
Appreciate the answers, guys.
