    Has logging helped you?

Honestly, some times I see these old guys contantly sitting on the bench after each set, logging their work outs.

I'm getting more and more down to the details with my diet, sups and workouts though.

Food is scaled to the 1/10 of an oz, alarms are set for eating on my cell (every 2 hours), heart rate is constantly monitored.

I'm considering using a stop watch, log my sets and time between my sets.

Wondering if any of you guys have had improvements with it?

I've never done it, because I don't care how strong I am, just how sexy I look.

I log my workouts so I can switch it up and try to keep pushing up the poundages.Thought about the stopwatch idea have the thing in the trunk of the car.

i time myself between my sets, and log my workouts and evaluate them to see how they have worked in correlation with my diet. its the best grading tool you can have

I always time myself between my sets, and I write everything down. Lets me see how fast I improve, and also when I'm about to do a workout, I look back to the previous week so I know how many reps or how much weight I can add to improve. I really like logging, it's up to you though.

by having a workout log, you can SEE yourself getting stronger/weaker. this will also indicate to you that your diet is great/sucks. its a must have IMO

    I log everything.

I don't set a timer to eat though. I just "know" when it's been 2.5 hours or so.

logging is the way to gather empirical evidence of what is working and what isn't.

I log my workouts. I don't time them. I use whatever music I'm listening to as a sort of timer. About half a normal song I'm at it again. I like the timer idea for eating though...

idk about me, but i never forget to eat! but about the logging, i never really benefited from logging. I rotate my lifts and I really focus on technique and squeezing the muslce and i really don't aim for gaining weight. If a certain weight just doesn't burn anymore i go up. But to each their own, i would give it a try cuz it does seem to help some people
