    Question about diabetics

    Wuz up fellas. I was wondering what tips you guys have who have worked/trained clents with diabetes. I know that they should it a good simple fibrous carb like; pasta, rice, bread and I read somehwere that even a hard candy helps so that their blood sugar doesn't drop too low. It also said that signs to look out for when they are working out are, thirst, dizziness, nervousness. If any of you could tell me any other important points that would help I would appreciate it. Maybe other signs and other tips on foods. Should they have something with them, fruit etc with them while working out. Thank you!

    I have my severely diabetic clients check their blood sugar both before and after training. They are not allowed to train without having gatorade on hand. They need to eat some slow burning carbs in each meal and should eat roughly 1 hour before training and within 45 minutes post-training.
