    Shoulder Injury

This is my first time to post. About two weeks ago I was thrown from a boat while going fishing. I landed on a sand bar and torn my labrum and have a hills sachs fracture. I am having surgery on May 12th. I have heard that there are things you can take to speed up recovery. I have tried to do some research but after awhile everything just blends together. What would be the right stuff to take?

I am a very active guy. I lift about 4 days a week, play tennis, golf, cycle, swim, racquetball, etc... I am about 6'1" and am 205lb. Thanks for any help ahead of time. I have never taken anything in the past, if that matters. Thanks again

Just rest up man. Rest is your best friend. I know it sucks but you gotta.
Time heals everything. I dumped my stunt bike and broke my collar and a rib. I
myself am active and had to wait it out.

Yah don't take any compound to try and heal yourself quick... I HAD THE SAME EXACT THING HAPPEN TO ME !! That's crazy !! I had to have surgery and everything.. I jumped on a cycle 2 weeks after my surgery and skipped physical therapy .. I started out LIGHT and everything but.. I wish I had never done that... 8 months later I was back under the knife to fix the damage I had done.. this time I recovered the right way. RESTED, WENT TO PHYSICAL THERAPY ... every single appointment... AND ATE THE RIGHT WAY. 6 months after that... I was 100% again and that's when I started my cycle again... at the right time... and since then... HAVEN'T HAD A SINGLE ISSUE WITH MY SHOULDER !!!

So that is my advice for you man...Do what you want... but just try and do it the RIGHT way !!
