    box squatting

Do yall think high rep box squatting would be effective, like 4-6 sets of 10-15 reps?

I did box squats for years when my primary purpose was to develop strength and always kept reps in the 1-5 range. I've seen Dave Tate on Elitefts.com do high rep box squats and it seems he is more into bodybuilding type workouts now. If you are working for size I'm wondering if it wouldn't be better to do regular squats for high reps because you keep the tension on your muscles the whole time if you don't completely lock them out. Just a thought...

Yes It did build strength and size on me for using 4-8 heavy reps! I say yes!

    Yes.

I do my heavest set- 2-3 reps, then rep out with 60-70%.

    Love my box squats!
