If you are getting cramps and spazzing then I would recommend stretching those areas but also taking it easy till it stops. You might have torqued a muscle and it is telling you *Hey watch out*

Have you had problems with Spasms before or anything like this before your cycle. If you have then rest is usually the best. I am not sure what muscle relaxant and steroids would do together but maybe someone esle can answer that. Usually when I get a spasm I just take some muscle relaxant and rest it off. It usually happens to my back every once a year.

I have also found that pain killers can sometimes make it worse since it hides the pain and you end up pushing it too far and making things worse. Also taking Vitamin C 1500-2000 mgs, Milk and Water will be good friends for you as well.

Had the same problem with the forearm pain when doing biceps and back. Fixed it last week by believe or not getting wrist straps. Been strapping the wrists pretty tight so that when doing bicep curls the weight doesnt go below the forearm level. I was putting on a lot of weight and wrists couldnt handle it.
