question about on cyp and sust cycle???

my mates dad runs 6 months on and 6 off he been doing it now for 10 years he always uses sust at 250mg shot every 7 days but his supplier has ran out of sust and can only get cyp.

questions.

if he uses the cyp this time would it take longer to kick in then the sust would?

would he notice the difference from using the sust to the cyp? as with sust having prop in it it should kick in quicker but as he his shooting every 7 days will he even be geting much out of the prop?

if he is only shooting the sust ONCE a week, then he is not getting the advantage of the prop ester

Cyp for TRT will be about the same as the sust for TRT

WHY the 6 on 6 off?? UNLESS he is doing an aggressive PCT after the 6 months on, then he is really screwing his system up as he will still be shut down for the 6 months off

Sust is a blend on multiple esters short and long. mostly longer.
It will usually contain say prop/enth/cyp and it need to be shot so oftem because of the prop in it. The prop in the sust will kick in faster then the longer esters but the effects will lower since there isn't a high dose of prop in the sust.
Also you can shoot prop ed or eod

basically.. i think your in a losing battle wit the guy in the first place.. what kind of person would do no pct at all.. yes and since its a blend the dose on those long ester tests are so low.. its split somewhat 4 ways so technically he is only doing 80 or so whatever the calculations are of a long ester test in sust.. might as well just get cyp or enanthate and shoot 250+ of a single compound and get better results. and do a pct..

he think he knows it all coz he is a old timer and been working out over 30 years...so think will just give up trying to help him out... will just tell him to go ahead with the cyp i also told him to do a pct but he said he never done 1 before so whats the point

ask him if he ever has mood problems or depression when he comes off for 6 months
ask him if he ever has libido or erection problems when he is off for 6 moths
ask him to come on here and talk to the pros that can help him do this correctly
the way he is doing it, there is NO need to come off EVER

I would much rather run a low dose cyp regimen than the same amount in sust....and in the past when I've run sust I found that it still takes about a month to fully kick...about the same as cyp...and I think as far as water retention its the same..
