    How much redness....

I injected my left delt on wednesday and was normally sore the next day. Still sore today, but not too, too sore. I got home from work today and changed into my workout clothes. I noticed in the mirror that my delt was 'slightly' red. HARDLY even noticeable even...but, I want to play it safe and ask you guys. I did a few searches on this issue and felt my shoulder for any warmness...Once again, it was 'slightly' warmer than my other delt. When I say slightly, I mean SLIGHTLY. I constantly monitor all injections as im sure most of you here do...which is why I noticed the barely noticeable redness. This might be somewhat irrelevant, but I drive a topless jeep and its hot as hell here in Texas. Maybe I'm trying to fool myself that the warmth is due to the sun's heat. Anyway, does the amount of redness (very light shade vs. darker shade) indicate how bad the situation might be? I'm shooting Test Prop BTW....Thanks in advance for any help you guys may provide me with....

If this is your first injection then yes it will get a bit sore and red. Just alternate sites and it should slowly go away.

if its your shot in a new area, you should expect some soreness and discomfort for a few days, especially with prop. i wouldnt worry about the redness too much either at this point if it's as slight as you say. if it doesnt go away and gets significantly worse, then go see your doc

Sounds good...I really appreciate the quick responses. For awareness sake, what exactly does significantly worse mean? More redness, alongside more pain? Swelling? I just want to know to more accurately monitor and pinpoint potential redflags...

more redness or pain. it should be back to normal within a couple days as long as you dont inject in it again. dont sweat it. it's most likely nothing to worry about
