    Nsaids(cox-2 inhibitors) and aas-antagonist?

Is it contraindicated to run gear and take nsaids if you get an injury? I know that in general cox-2 inhibitors will reduce the inflammation from injury and also from lifting, so in other words, decrease gains. But my back is really hurting and I need something. Only taking test prop right now and havent started the winny portion of my cycle yet. Tylenol sound good instead and stop that when I get the winny? Or just take the Ibu for a little to get rid of the pain and then stop? I just do not want to lose any gains by taking something that works against what I am trying to do.

I don't know how your diet is right now, cutting or bulking, but regardless, NSAIDs significantly inhibit protein synthesis. During cutting and caloric balance that means you'd be losing muscle mass, while if you're bulking it means that gains would be slower.

I have NEVER seen a study showing the effects of nsaid on someone while on aas cycle. Knowing the incredible amounts of ibuprofen pro bb take and considering they are huge....i seriously think the inhibition of muscle growth would be minimal. JMO.....
