First off, I am 21 years old. I am a pitcher for a D1 college in South Carolina. Before I went to school (2006) I was 245lbs in a 6'1 frame. Today I am 6'3 and weigh 210lbs.
Before now, I have basically just lifted and ran with what our strength coach has drawn up for us. as a pitcher it rotates on a 3 day series.
Day 1) 40 Minutes jog
Day 2) 15 180 ft. sprints
Day 3) 10 90 ft. sprits
Our diet is held in check by a nutritionist that the team assigns to either pitchers or positions players. She literallygives us a grocery list of what we can have and we have day to day sheets of meals a day. So its really laid out or us pretty simple.
The problem is that I have seem to hit a wall and get lose anymore weight. My food intake is at 2300-2500 calories a day. I have tried going down to 1800-2000 and feel so tired all the time after my workouts and would not feel up to par when pitching. With season winding down in about a month, I am looking to see what I can do to get these last pounds off me.
My goal is 190lbs.
Thanks in advance for the help!!
