    Breakfast Question

I am still working on a 6meal diet taking many ideas from everyone. I do have 1 question. In the AM, Im usually rushing to get to work so I blend my 1st meal and split it with a half meal as such

    6am
    2 whole eggs
    3 eggwhites
    1 banana
    2 scoops whey protein (40mgs)
(All blended up makes about 2 cups after water added)

    730am
    two cups oatmeal and banana

    9am workout.

Now My question is, does it matter if meal one is cooked or blended?
Just curious if this makes any difference.

    Thanx

great to see you out of your whore stage lol, i think you should stick to just egg whtiesin the AM in the shake.. ike 8-10. and your 7:30 should have some protein in it as well.. if time is tough to manage.. then maybe you could use a shake there instead of your first AM meal

    LOL. Thanx

So Cancel the whole eggs all 2gether? Add more eggwhites? What do you suggest to add with the 730meal?
For the 730am meal I try to keep it light because its pre-workout. For me I tend to feel heavy if I eat too Much.

    Thanx for the response.

well its a little awkward how its set up.. usually i like to keep it 2 carb/pro meals thhan wait 1.5 hours after the 2nd to workout, to avoid digestion problems, fatigue, etc. BUT, you are giving yourself 1.5 hours ffrom 7:30 meal to 9 which is good, so you defiantely need a complex startchy carb for some prolonged energy. you could stick with the oats, as long as they are naturally rolled/steel cut and not quick oats. i would run ezekiel bread there to be honest with some grilled chicken 4-60z and and some lettuce.. be creative you know just follow a protein/complex carb deal pre workout

i dont agree with the "use natural or rolled oats, not instant"

the GI rating of instant vs rolled is like an 8point difference.

so you can use them. they still get the job done

unless your doin precontest.... which i know VP isnt

well, the advice i give is for optimal.. of course quick can work.. yea slightly higher GI... but anyway.. what you really want to stay away from is prepacked oats.. thats where you run into trouble with refined sugars.

I have 5 egg whites in a cup prepared the night before. As soon as I get up I cook then and add 2 whole eggs. Plus one cup of dry oats. Takes only but a few minutes. Or just do 7 egg whites.

They are nice, you make a few in Sunday and put them in the frig. So when you get up all you have to do is microwave them.

2 whole eggs personally i would cut that out
    3 eggwhites
    1 banana
    2 scoops whey protein (40mgs)
(All blended up makes about 2 cups after water added)

    730am
two cups oatmeal and banana then i would use here a few egg whites

Just curious if this makes any difference.

also in conclusion i prefer using lower gi fruits so they last a little longer so things like green apples all sorts of berries (but that is a personal thing)

    Thanx
