mind altering drugs and your testosterone levels?

this just came to my mind, and im wondering what effects it has. i was doing a lot of drugs as a young teenager when i hung out with the wrong crowd; thank god that is no more. are there dramatic effects these drugs (Edited) can all have on your hpta reducing testosterone levels dramatically?

im sorry im not deliberately talking about rec drugs, i just want to know if there were serious effects on the hpta because i hope my body is in good health. ill edit it however

Any kind of prolonged drug use (abuse) will have a negative effect on all organs...but if you have stopped for some time the body will have healed itself and you should be ok...unless you're predisposed to certain certain diseases..

I know from personal experience that Opiod based prescriptions will actually shut your Natty Test Off ... or so my PCP has informed me... hence why I am on TRT at such a young age... it's either that or I screwed myself up from using AAS at a young age being dumb and not knowing about PCT and such.... I guess that's what I get for cycling at 20 y.o. just thinking I was cool... too bad I didn't know of this site then... would have saved me a whole lot of trouble in my life I suppose...

But yah I was on a regimen of Pain Killers from my Accident... that I am sure most of you are aware of now... and heavy doses for long periods of time which led to an addiction which led me to a Clinic to get me clean and have now been 100% clean for some time...

But when I had blood work done and my Natty Test was non-existent they attributed it to the use of prescription pain pills... not my previous AAS use... i guess I'll never truly know but... the only thing that really matters in my life right now is that I am clean...

oh wow. did they try to recover you no luck? how was your life with being shut down? because at times i feel that my drug use when i was younger lowered my testosterone, and now i messed up with a cycle. i will never know either if its the drugs or cycle because not much has changed. how you feel now on trt?

Ye same problem here I have been on everything from Lortab to methadone for my injury (3 heirniated discs) that is why I have trt. That is also why trying to squat anything over 375# sucks!
