Doc gave me prescriptions for my back acne

Alright first she gave me a prescription for a topical cream called Clindamycin which I am not worried about than she gave me a prescription for an antibiotic called Doryx she says its relatively new and assured me that it is safe on the liver

I just want to make sure this antibiotic doesnt interfere with my muscle growing process or anything like that, I am cruising right now so i am not technically on cycle.

Ask your doctor. No need to mentions the roids unless you have kind of relationship with your doc. "I'm into weightlifting and was wondering if this will hinder muscle growth." Like I said in a thread similar to yours, I don't believe anyone here can give you a solid answer.

Well she knows I am on testosterone, I don't care I tell my doctors that they promise not to release that information. Anyway, its funny because I went in there for something completely different and she saw the back acne and was like "you want a prescription for that?" and I was like "sure I guess".

I just assumed that someone on this board probably has taken Doryx or another similar tetracycline and want to know their experience.

You might be lucking and find someone in a similar situation. Honestly since you have an open relationship with your doc I'd go ask her.

i have been having problems with back acne myself. It has gotten much much better and I just used baking soda (look it up, seems to work) which worked well for me and a acne soap wash

BUT i am looking to get it 100% clear so if you don't mind I might contact you in the near future to see how this went. Sorry for not being any help

lol she is not my doctor, she is a dermatologist (I guess now she is "my dermatologist"). She asked me what caused it and I said I am on testosterone and she understood and could tell and was talking about bodybuilding and said she has seen this before.

So I don't see why people are afraid to admit it to doctors, they sign forms specifically saying they keep whatever you say confidential.

I mean, my regular doc doesn't approve of its use or anything, but its not like he is going to run and tell the cops. He recommends and says everything in MY INTEREST.

Yeah I mean it used to be really bad when i got off the tren, like I would bleed through my undershirts and during workouts they would rip and I would check my back and see blood seeping through and that would be when I was wearing and undershirt underneath my workout shirt!!

I went to the beach a few times and used the dawn soap and it has gone done considerably but you can still see the "marks' and apparently this takes care of it.

I will let you know, its a 12 week therapy.

Well when you say Doc in the title of your thread what do you want me to assume? Ask your normal doc about it.

Well one of the reasons I believe people are unwanting to talk to a doc about it because of the lack of knowledge on its use by the doctor. Also from reading on here by another member, not sure of the legitimacy of it but I guess if it was to go on your medical records that you do use it that it can fvck with your insurance depending on who insures you. If anyone thinks their doc is gonig to run off and tell the cops they are a complete moron, they would instantly lose their license to practice.

Sweet great my friend. really wanna hear about.

Man seems like you had a pretty serious case and you say it happened AFTER you came off the tren, funny same here. I thought that was strange. I had mine pretty bad and was covered in acne all over my shoulders and back which bad it embarrassing to train in something like a tank top or a sleeveless shirt or even go out to the pool.

Tetracycline type drugs inhibit the 30S ribosomal subunit in bacteria. This essentially inhibits protein synthesis in bacterial cells. I am not aware of it hurting muscle gains at all, but it can make you very sensitive to sunlight (10% of people), such as in the case of doryx.

True, yeah my normal doctor isn't that smart about anabolics either. He does HRT, but he thinks i can safely get off without PCT and keep my muscle

Yeah i will give him a call, as for it going on my medical records, I am not worried about that because from what I saw my doctors they would ask me what I am currently on so they could take that into consideration when making recommendations and take into mind. Plus I am switching insurance companies and I pay flat rate for my insurance because I buy it through my university.

Yeah well on tren it was there and stuff and I didn't really care, then I got off and its like the loss of tren caused them to start bursting during workouts, I would wake up and notice blood on my bed sheets or my undershirt would have blood blobs on the back side.

I mean I have no acne on my front side so it was just on my shoulders and back so it was kind of embarrassing going to the beach with it, but hey I look damn good and from what I could tell the girls didnt give a ****. Plus a couple trips reduced it noticeably, now they are just "under the skin" and not open or sticking out. I just want to get rid of it because it would make me look better and not give a huge red flag to everyone that seems me that I am a steroid user haha.

Why I wanna get rid of mine, less tell tale signs

When in shirts I already get accused due to my vascularity, size, and look of the muscle, especially my forearms since i tend to not wear tight shirts that show off to much.
I'm like its diet, which it is why I look the way i do, But the response is "thats not diet, thats steroids". fvck, we can never win
